Proof is in the pudding.

Our Pastor gave such a powerful sermon today, and posed one very important question that I think we all need to personally answer: How can you be sure that you are a child of God?

In so many great details, he reminded us what it looks like to be someone’s child. Not only the image is reflective of that parent within their child, but also behaviors, gestures, and so on. He also reminded us of the Word, when Jesus said:

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in Heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’” Matthew 7:21-23

Surely, we would be crushed to hear Jesus say that He never knew us. So, how are we sure that He does?

We have a living, intimate relationship with Him, that produces drastic change in our lives, because He is showing us the way to doing the will of our Father.

How have you changed?
